Leonie will be sending a note to the schools to ask children for submissions.  We hope the standard will be as good as other years and would encourage everyone to take part in this fun event. As usual there will be prizes for category winners  and a chance to have your art decorate the festival brochure cover.

Thought it might be timely to give update on plans for 2012.

There will be a much reduced festival as there are simply not enough volunteers to help with the organisation and events.

Notwithstanding , we are hoping to have an Opening day in July with some heritage events/exhibitions and something for Seniors during the week, also we hope to schedule some kids events and maybe a quiz.

If anyone wants to help or offer some suggestions  , feel free to put a comment on the website or come along to the Band room Wed 28th, March.

I  would like to thank departing Committee members, Mary McEvoy and Kieranne Hogg,  for there dedication, patience and good humour. You will be badly missed.
